Happy Scrappin’ this weekend

Most of you should have received the AZZA Newsletter from Roxy and Anita, if not – the great news is that our 2016 AZZA Catalogue is now available.  You can purchase it from a Consultant for $10.00 or pop along to the AZZA website and have a look through it yourself.  You will see the “2016 Catalogue” right at the top of the AZZA home page (written in blue)  above the “Consultants” Menu title.

Click on the 2016 Catalogue and you will see our new Flipping book:  which means ……  you can flip through the pages of our catalogue online!  If you want to see an article up close – you can enlarge it and take a closer look.  Go along and have a play and see what is available.  Sadly, quite a few items have been discontinued but AZZA are adding new product all the time.  Note that a few products have been included that will only be available in May.

Please also note that the 15 Year Anniversary Kit that was brought out to Celebrate 15 years of AZZA in Europe has been sold out and there will be no more available.  Those of you that got in quick were lucky.  We are hoping that as this stencil was so popular, it will be brought out later in the year as one of our regular stencils.

Hilary our Consultant in Victoria, has shared with us her layouts she has created with the new templates.  They are beautiful.  Anyone in the Inverleigh area in Victoria be sure to track her down and go to her classes.  Hilary was the first person in Australia to join AZZA as a Consultant so she has many years experience to share with you.

Working with the new “Eole” stencil:

Hilary has not used the pre-cut pages, but made her own front page cut to the shape of the stencil:

Still working with her amazing photos from Western Australia, Hilary created a page with the Galapagos stencil.

Here she has used some of the NEW AZZA PAPER – which goes so well with the photos.

The papers used on this layout are “Essential – Rust” – $8.50 for a set of 8 sheets. Do go to the AZZA website and have a look at our colour range.

Essential 'Rust"

She has also used one of the Australian Embossing Folders “Gum Leaves” – Die 6101 at $15.00.  Note she has chalked the paper once she has cut it to give it some definition.

Gum Leaves

Another layout with Galapagos, using paper from the blue range, an embossing folder and a few lace figurines.

The Embossing folder Hilary has used is the “Oval Lace Mats” but note she has cut them in half for this layout.

Die 003 “Oval Lace Mats” – $35

The last layout is using the Galapagos stencil and the AZZA ‘Wood’ Embossing Folder.

Note how she has chalked on the top left-hand side, she has continued the photo into the chalking.  Very effective.  The stamped images on the right-hand side of the page are from our Nautical AZZA Stamp range.

Nautical

Nautical Mini Stamp Set – $27.50

This is a great AZZA Stamp set to purchase as it can be used with so many themes.

The ‘Eole’ stencil can look quite busy, so here is a very simple layout using only 3 photos.  The AZZA punches have been used to create the smaller circles and the two larger circles have been coloured using one of AZZA’s texture stencils highlighted with the Pearl Maker Pens.

Another serene layout using the Toronto stencil this time, from AZZA Europe again.

Toronto9

Toronto stencil, ‘Wood’ Embossing folder and another of the new AZZA Circles Embossing stencil.

Last week I had a great class here in Turramurra.

This page was created by Liz, using one of my favourites, Bahamas stencil.  She has also used only three photos on this layout, although the top one was an enlargement.

Dianne came to class for the first time and created this page in class, she certainly got the hang of it very quickly, a great layout for a first timer!!  Maldives is such an easy stencil to work with and if you don’t want to journal or used another texture on the page, you can easily fit 9 photos onto one page!!!

The next class in Turramurra is next Wednesday, 23rd March.  We will be playing with the new AZZA Embossing folders to create a bit of texture on our pages.

I always like to end with a few pages created in the AZZA way but without a template.  I like the decoration on this page, butterfly figures and the little ‘fencing’ and watering can both from the AZZA stamp range.

Floscrap, Europe created this beautiful page, could be used as a Title page too.  Note the chalking on the paper squares as well as the page.

I do hope you will have seen a few ideas that you would like to use on your pages.  Remember if you have any problems please do not hesitate to e-mail me and I will help in any way I can.

Happy Scrappin’
