With Christmas cards done, hopefully you are well into getting the gifts sorted.

As you know, I LOVE Mini albums, they are great gifts and a good size to pop in the post. I have always requested photos, or have downloaded them from Facebook (quietly) so the album is a surprise, but Carole Pereira posted a great idea on Facebook – making an album without photos so the recipient can add their own!!

Carole’s pages can be seen below. She has used the new AZZA Noel paper block, AZZA linen self adhesive paper, AZZA Figurines, Resin dots, Ribbon and Glitter tape.

I decided to make up two Albums, one for Adults and one for kids. I was very happy with the results:

I used the AZZA Autumn leaves die, they are beautiful on the page.

The leaves cut beautifully out of patterned paper and can be cut with 3D Foam behind the paper to give texture on the page. Where the leaf is a little high, above left, I stuck one to the page and stuck a second on top, but only stuck the bottom half down so a photo can slide in between them. This will allow the one leaf to be on top of the photo.

The easy way to use the 3D Foam with these dies: Cut the paper to the size you need, then stick the 3D foam behind it and run it through the Big Shot or Cuttlebug. I used orange 3D foam to match the colours in the paper. This is great to do with the leaves with veins. As you can see in the second sample below, they look great with the AZZA Cork too.

Or cut both in different colours and place one on top of the other.

My second Mini album I created using the AZZA Magic themed products and the Coast Die set.

You will have seen a lot of pages out of Europe using speckled paper, created with the AZZA Izink dyes. AZZA Australia have a few colours left in stock, these are concentrated colours, without the spray nozzle. These bottles will last you for ages, as you can decant the dye into a smaller spray bottles (dilute if you feel necessary) and as a Consultant, sell the smaller bottles to your clients OR friends can each buy a bottle and share the colours amongst yourselves. I sprayed this page with two different inks. The pattern you will get depends on how far away you hold your spray bottle and how hard you press the nozzle. Do have a few practise goes before you spray your mini album.

Again, on these two sheets I placed 3D Foam on only half the Unicorn. On the sheet to the left, I only placed it on the bottom half, so a photo can be slipped behind the image and on the right, only on the top half of the unicorn.

I got the idea above from Val Scrap, Europe. Do take a look at the ‘Cutting Die’ section in the shop. I used the products from the AZZA Cooking theme for the cards above.
