Happy New Year to you all, I am not quite sure where the last month went, but here we are half way into January!

2021 kicked off with great pomp and ceremony – the release of the AZZA 20th Anniversary Box Sets. AZZA has promised a year full of competitions and special releases to mark this major milestone.
As per previous celebration years, this Box Set is a limited release so once sold they will no longer be available. AZZA Australia has very limited numbers so if you like the look of it, do place your order without delay.

Box Set A is the basic Box Set without the products that you need a machine to use. The Box consists of a Golden stencil CHARLESTON, a linen 30 x 30 album, Large and Diamond stamp set, A4 Sketch sheet, Sheet of Figures and stickers, set of papers and a beautiful book of illustrations. The voucher in the photo is not valid in Australia.
Box Set B consists of Box Set A plus: Embossing folder, Cutting die/stamp and a beautiful set of timeless cutting dies.

Note that the Stamp/die can be used with Foil, as a cutting die and as a stamp with inks.
Hilary created this elegant page below using only products from Box Set A. I know we don’t normally use stickers, but these do look beautiful on the page.

Unfortunately, AZZA Australia were supposed to send these boxes out this week but with the hard lockdown in Brisbane they will only be sent out next week.
Anita created the lovely pages below, also with the products from Box Set A. AZZA Australia has had an issue with our delivery of the ‘Extra’ products that go into Box B and these have not yet arrived ‘down under’. They are now on their way so will follow the basic box set across Australia as soon as they arrive.
It is lovely to see how different the layouts can be, created with the same stencil.
The layouts above have been created by Deb, using the lovely AZZA Australiana products in the one and showcasing the Diamond stamp in the other.
Lastly a Heritage page by Lyn using the Stickers, the A4 Sketch sheet, the paper and a stamp from both the Large and Diamond set.

The DALLAS stencil and Feather themed products were also released in January in Australia – I thought this quote from Emily Dickinson was perfect to begin the year.

Our Consultants have been very busy and produced some beautiful layouts with the Dallas stencil. This set consists of a ‘Tool’ stencil, which is designed to give you beautiful clean inking, chalking or pen lines on your pages. If you do not know how to use the Tool stencil do get in touch with your Consultant and ask for a lesson. The page below shows the Tool stencil being used for the inking.

Sue has also used some of the lovely AZZA Australiana products on her ‘blue’ page and she has used the Feathers texture stencil on the paper in her second layout.

This is a gorgeous Texture stencil, also used by Heather and Jill in the layouts below.

Heather has been really busy with Dallas and the ‘Feather’ themed products. Both beautiful pages.

Note on the page above how the feathers have been brought to life with a little colour. On the first page, Heather has overlaid a stamped image with a stamped/3D’s image to give it texture on the page.

Rachel has brought her feathers to life with inks and pens, then overlaid them with a small feather figure.

Ruth has used the figures on her page above and created a beautiful shadow effect for them to sit upon. If you cut the figure out carefully, you can use the shape left on the sheet to ink or to chalk the same shape.

I love Carole’s decoration above using AZZA Resin dots, Glitter tape, Ribbon and a Circle sticker.
Christine has used the Feather products on her page below, created with the AZZA Stockholm stencil.

The AZZA numbers and alphabet can be such fun on a page as seen above. We all have birthday’s throughout the year, so would be using them constantly – not to mention the birthday cards too.

I used the alphabet stencil together with one of the smaller AZZA Alphabet dies on my page above. I also used the AZZA Sewing Ribbon die which again looks lovely on both cards and on the scrapping page.

This lovely page by Sophie shows the second die used on the page with the Dallas stencil and below the die used on a card by Brigitte.

Sophie has also created beautiful pages using the new AZZA Ring dies. There are two sets of these dies in different sizes:

Note the lovely ‘line’ work on the border.

The background stamp is from the set below:

Carole has created this page using the AZZA A4 stencil San Francisco, also using the Ring and Alphabet cutting dies.

Another sample from our European Ladies shows the dies being used as a Title page in an album.
And a few lovely cards by Christine Ronsin in Europe. Christine has incorporated AZZA Figures, Cutting dies, Resin dots and Glitter tape on her cards.

The new cutting dies have a matt finish and are in such soft tones. I love the page below created by Jill Attrill using these new Resin dots:

Jill has used the Secret Garden A5 Texture stencil, Floral and Little Beasts stamp, new Matt Resin dots and Glitter tape and AZZA Cord.

To end, a few more ideas with the Dallas stencil and a video from Dominique:

I like both these pages using the Dallas stencil, they are so unique. On the page above Corine has used an AZZA large circle stencil together with her Dallas stencil. This once again shows how your Tool stencil can give you smooth lines for your border.

On the page above you can see the Feathers Embossing folder used on the page together with the Texture stencil and Figures.

The Dallas stencil has perfect shapes to use together with the AZZA Cascading card die.

Thanks to Sophie for all the samples she has shared with us in this blog.

A gift for all occasions: An AZZA page in a frame as seen below. This page was created with the Dallas stencil, AZZA cutting dies, papers and stamps.

Don’t forget the Annual AZZA Sale from Monday 18th January – Sunday 31st January.
Happy Scrappin’
Lyn
