This month a stencil, CASABLANCA and the ARABIAN NIGHTS themed products were released with two new colour tones – PEACH and RUBY GRAPEFRUIT.

The Studio kit is pictured above. Please note that the A4 Sketch sheet is only available in the Studio, it will not be sold individually.
The Casablanca die has also been released, this die matches one of the stencils and can be used in so many ways. The die is available to purchase on its own and is also in two different baskets. AZZA has placed it into a Basket with the Focus book as there is just so much you can do with it.

In the page above, Hilary shows how the die can be used on the page. Hilary has stamped the die cut with the AZZA Materials and Texture stamp, this will also look very nice with the Materials and Texture stamp with the script. Mail Out subscribers will have received this stamp.

On Isabelle’s page above, she has placed the die cut so that it looks like it is lying behind the layout. The gaps in the die can be left to look like a clear window or can be filled with vellum paper, photos, ink/chalk or paper.
On my layout below I have used a few of these ideas. I created this double page using the Casablanca stencil and the die. As you can see, at the top, centre and bottom I took out sections so that you can see through to the back page. I did not want to just see the children’s shoes in the lower gap so I filled it in with vellum paper and covered the shoes with decoration. I have used the School themed products for decoration on this page. The two backpacks were created with stamps from the large stamp set and coloured in with alcohol pens. I finished the decoration off with the lovely AZZA cord. The two pencils are part of the School die set and what I love about this set is that you can make the pens or crayons any colour. I have also used the School embossing folder on the plain paper.

The inside spread was fun to create, again using the School decoration products. The paper comes with the alphabet/numbers on one side and the other side is perfect for University graduation pages.

I have had such fun with these dies. I love using two different colours – saving all the little bits to use on another layout. The layout below I created for a Family Heritage album using the Bombay stencil. I also used the second die set released last month, Stationery store, and it looks great on the page:

The large stamp is also perfect to create little scenes on the page.

On the double page above you can see I have used both sizes of back packs on the front page. Inside I used the little bucket of pencils together with the book. I also created a little scene on my single page using two images off the stamp set. Below is a lovely card created by Sabine in Europe using the same set of stamps, great idea for a card for Teachers.

This double page below by Sabine is one of my favourite. It shows the Arabian Nights decoration products used with a theme other than just travel in the region. This front page has been cut with the lovely curve on the right. It has one gap cut into it to show the photo on the left, which is on a smaller piece of green page cut and connected to the front page.

The images above shows the back of the front page when open. On the left above you can see the same photo which can be seen through the gap when the double page is closed. Then, the green flap is flipped over to the right to expose another two photos. Below is the back page.

Anne-Nathalie create this lovely page below using the new colour tones.

Below, keeping the photos simple.

Christine Houbrechts created this Halloween page using the Casablanca stencil and die and the newly released Halloween products. Note how she used the ‘cut outs’ from the die on the bottom right of the page.

I created this little card below using one of the images on the same stamp set and the new Halloween paper.

With Halloween at the end of the month AZZA has put a basket together:

If you like to decorate, the Lantern die is perfect. Take a look at the AZZA ‘Window’ dies which allows you to change the ‘window panes’ in the Lantern. If you already have the Lantern, check out the other dies you could use.

I always like to see these layouts that are based on an original but all look so different on the page.

Lastly, Fiona and I attended a Paper Craft show held in Perth over the weekend. It was wonderful to see all the Crafters out and about after most of the shows have been cancelled over the last year or so.
Welcome to the ladies who came along to meet us and said they would pop along to my blog and have a look. I am sure you will love all the ideas shared here. Thank you to all the ladies whose pages I have shared, it is wonderful to see so many ideas on the page.
Happy Scrappin’
Lyn
