Mixed medley of themes

It’s SPRING Downunder and AUTUMN in Europe, both my favourite seasons. Not too warm and not too cold (hopefully)!!

In Australia we see a beautiful TROPICAL range released. The new products match with many older products that are still in the range and can be used together. The tropical texture stencil is back in stock so could be on its way to you on Monday if you place an order soon.

Don’t discount the paper as being too bright, use AZZA inks and chalks to bring it back to the tone of green you need on the page. I created the page below using the AZZA Cannes stencil and the Tropical paper featured in the basket above. Sadly the embossing folder I used was released in Europe, sold out and was not re-run.

I also used a die for the Tropical set. These are great as you can cut them in different coloured card and paper and then mix them up on the page.

A beautiful scene created on the page by Scarpons sur le bassin d’Arcachon with the cutting dies above

Nadia Martin has used the Tropical themed products on her page above created with the AZZA Kyoto stencil. This large set of stamps can be used with so many themes on the page so a good one to have on hand.

On the page above the stamp in the Tropical basket has been used to turn plain paper into patterned paper on the page.

Hilary has used both Tropical stamp sets on the page below created with the special edition AZZA Olympic stencil.

Also featured are figurines from the new ‘On the Beach’ themed products. I know I have said this before, but these are always a quick decoration on your page. Bring them to life with pens, inks and chalks.

The basket above includes an AZZA Decor theme book, these are great as they showcase the products with different stencils. If you lack inspiration these are the books to purchase, full of great layouts. Also included are 5 sheets of the AZZA paper pack, beach themed. If you have been wanting to see the quality of the paper in these packs but did not want to purchase a whole pack, this is your chance to receive 5 pages to play with. Being thicker, they are almost card, not paper. The page featured in the basket above is by Deb Byrne. She has used the Olympic stencil for her layout, a sheet from the AZZA paper pack, one of the figures on the sheet above and a stamp from the large set below.

This stamp set, like the School large stamp set, is ideal to create little scenes as decoration on your page.

The two seagulls can be seen on many pages uploaded in Facebook.

Hilary has used them on the page below using the newly released AJACCIO stencil. This stencil is a 20 x 20cm stencil. Hilary has also used the pages from the ‘On the beach’ paper pack, the starfish were cut from one of the pages in the pack. The sun and crab are figures from the Figure sheets on sale this month.

The Ajaccio stencil fits the AZZA Desk album perfectly. There are 20 pages in this desk album so can be used as a calendar or just an album for a loved one to flip through the pages over the year. Now is the time to begin creating your Christmas presents.

Take advantage of the Father’s Day basket available this month and you will receive a small calendar block for 2022 and the Father’s Day stamp. This stamp can be used for Father’s Day cards and also on your page when you are scrapping your Father’s Day photos. Block out the word ‘Happy’ and print only the ‘Father’s Day’.

Double page by Christine Houbrechts using the Cannes stencil and seagull stamp.

The ‘To the Beach’ embossing folder is beautiful on the page. I have used it on my double page below which I created using the Cannes stencil. I also used the micro stamp that came with the latest Special edition Scrap & Moi magazine. I would not use the French lettering so I actually cut it out of the stamp, then it is easy to use on the page without having to block anything off.

Position the paper in the embossing stencil carefully to get the best pattern of anchors.

Texture stamp featured on the front page is shown below. It works beautifully with the AZZA Glitter paint.

I have been working on a Family heritage album and have used the products released this month with the Dallas stencil and was very happy with the page. For the title I used the AZZA large alphabet dies together with the ‘Sage’ alphabet dies for the smaller letters.

Some of you were disappointed when the Decoration stencil above was unavailable at the beginning of the month. Our shipment with the stencils arrived on Wednesday so they are back in the shop and ready to be ordered! This image is just beautiful on the page! The ‘orange segment’ side works well as paving on your decoration.

Another page by Nadia Martin featuring the texture stencil above and stamps from the Tropical stamp set. Once again, apologies, the embossing folder is not available.

To end a little taste of SPRING in Western Australia. A lovely page by Sue Talbot in New South Wales using the smaller 20 x 20cm Ajaccio stencil on the normal 30 x 30cm page.

Don’t forget to check out the Father’s Day specials running throughout the month in our ‘Sale’ section online.

Happy Scrappin’
