We are three weeks into the new year and here I am wishing you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Never too late! Let us hope that this year we will be able to travel and meet up with family for celebrations so that we will have wonderful days to keep a memory of in our albums.

Our last release of 2021 was Los Angeles stencil and the star products. We have seen some lovely layouts with these products.

Michelle created this lovely page using the Los Angeles stencil and the star themed products. Michelle has used the AZZA Texture paste with the texture stencil. I do like the stars in various colours with one of them embossed with the star embossing folder.

Ruth Lawrence, our very own Consultant in Victoria created these two pages below. Ruth has used the AZZA Scrap PLUS kit: Travel for her decorations and the lovely little AZZA hedgehogs from the AZZA Autumn range. Is is great to see two pages with the same layout, different photos/papers and decorations.

Ruth also created the page below with the Los Angeles stencil showing a completely different layout on the page.

This lovely multi-page layout below was created by Claudine Blanc in Europe.

On the layout above, Francine has not cut too much off the photos. Note how she has only embossed the ends of the paper strips, a lovely idea. We seem to forget we don’t have to emboss the whole shape. Francine also created this double-page below:

Lastly, a page welcoming in the new year by Stempelbiene in Europe using the lovely AZZA Large number cutting dies.

This month we see the release of the new AZZA Scrap kit, and Scrap kit PLUS: Botanical.

This stencil was used at the annual AZZA Consultant conference last year and some beautiful pages were produced. Christine Caparros and Christine Houbrechts walked us through two beautiful page layouts working with these products.

The Consultants in Australia followed Christine’s instructions and it is great to see the pages produced showing just how different they look using different papers and colour tones. The Consultants used their own photos.

Note the two colour tones in the inking, this brings the colours on the page together.

Christine Houbrechts created the page below for the Consultants to work on. The Consultants show how one layout can be used to suit all photos.

A lovely set of multi-pages using the Botanical stencil created by Michelle Pirron in Europe.

A second set of multi-pages I thought I would show you as I do like the flap to keep it closed using the ‘0’ from the large number dies. Apologies I cannot find the creator, but will keep looking.

Products used for decoration are from the AZZA On the Beach theme. The texture stencil is beautiful on the page.

Also released this month was a 25 x 25 stencil: Opio. AZZA Europe used this stencil at their conference towards the end of the year.

A 25 x 25 stencil is very versatile as it is easily used on a 30 x 30 page too. A 25 x 25 page can also be used as a front page to a 30 x 30 page, allowing for more photos to be included in the multi-page layout.

This stencil had been incorporated into a basket for the month but unfortunately not all the products arrived from Europe. A basket without the covers will be placed in the shop so it can be available to purchase. The punched page set is also available to purchase from today. This basket is perfect if you have a special project you want to create. The pages are already punched to create the album that uses the AZZA Binding discs. Note: there a limited amount of this set of pages.

The 25 x 25 albums are a great size to use if you want to create a gift or a project of your own where you don’t have too many photos. I have just created two 60th albums as gifts for friends. One was photos from a weekend away and the other photos from a 60th party – so not really enough photos to fill a 30 x 30 album. The AZZA A4 pages, stencils and MDF album covers are also good for these types of gifts.

This beautiful layout above was created by Rachel, an AZZA Consultant in Queensland. Rachel has used the Alpes-Maritimes embossing folder on her papers and decoration from the Botanical Scrap kit Plus.

Christine used the same embossing folder on the page above and a stamp from the large stamp set, Alpes Maritimes. She also created this lovely multi-page layout below using the Opio stencil and Alpes Maritimes paper and texture stencil.

Christine Ronsin shows how the stamped image of the yacht together with the Alpes Maritimes texture stencil go together to create a little scene on the page. This shape is perfect for a title to a page as seen below.

This Floral stamp has been released with Botanicals but it matches the AZZA Floral die which was stocked previously. If you have the die, you may want to purchase this stamp as they go together beautifully on the page.

The matching Floral leaves and buds patterned paper is still available.

Lastly a few layouts I wanted to share using various stencils from last year and before. I liked this very simple layout using the Barcelona stencil and Cashmere paper. If you have two photos you don’t want to cut down too much this is a great layout. The photos have been mounted on card cut with the set of dies that matches the stencil. This layout will look fine if you don’t have the die as there will be the 5mm gap left by the stencil.

These two layouts are using the Barcelona stencil set. Above the AZZA Birth cutting die has been used for the decorations too.

This is a double page layout by Christelle using the Sherwood stencil set. Christelle has used products from the Rising sun decoration theme.
