Burano is an island in the Northern Venetian Lagoon. It is well known for its brightly coloured houses and beautiful lace. It is the lace designs you will see in the decoration products released this month.
Note the NEW patterns on the Classic patterned papers:
These products can be used throughout the year and with almost any theme.
With the layout below I wanted to show you how the straight lines in the stencil can be used. As all the lines were straight I used the AZZA Sewn square dies for the decoration. The texture stencil and patterned paper I have used is from the Alpes-Maritimes theme released last month.
This stencil has both the straight lines and beautiful curves. The tool stencil that comes with the duo allows for lovely long lines of chalking, inking or pen work. In the layout below by Rachel Timms, Queensland, you can see the uninterrupted lines either side of her photos/papers. Rachel has used the new AZZA Squares dies together with the Lace sketch sheet. Note they are different to the Sewn squares shown above.
The great thing about these dies is that you can use them as a set or just a few together to get a lovely narrow frame, or you can use a single die to get the exact size square required.
A tip to store your cut square or circles I saw on Facebook. Sorry can’t remember who posted it, but THANK YOU.
Honorine has created two beautiful pages below showcasing the lovely curves on the stencil and the Lace decoration products.
I also used one of the figures from the sheet above on my page below. I have showcased the Lace die and the texture stencil. This month AZZA has released Resin dots, ribbons and cord in the new colours. I have used the new Pearl Grey ribbon with a smaller AZZA satin ribbon behind the figure. I have tried to bring out the pink in the centre of the flowers on my layout with the pink mount for my decoration, inks on my die cut strip and pink Resin dots. The page is the new Sage colour and I have used the new Sage ink with the Lace texture stencil on my Pearl Grey double sided paper. When you use products from the same theme, the tones are already a great match. I used the Pearl Grey ink in the areas where I needed shading, but kept it plain as the photos and paper were already quite busy.
Our ladies who subscribe to the monthly Mail Out will receive a selection of the Spruce and Pearl Grey Resin dots, ribbon, cord, Lace patterned and double sided paper and a Sketch sheet. The lesson will show you how to use them for decoration on the page.
There are THREE new colours in the AZZA Cord range: Pearl Grey, Copper and Petrol.
Patricia shows how beautifully the Sketch sheet image, embossed second circle, Figure backed with the Spruce double-sided paper, Spruce satin ribbon and Resin dots work well together to create a decoration on the page.
A striking page by Stempelbeine in Europe using the Burano stencil and the Lace texture stencil.
She also created the page below using the Lace texture duo, patterned paper, sketch sheet and small figures. Note how she has used her Dymo label maker for a title, mounted it on a strip of the 15mm Pearl Grey ribbon and completed it with a small Lace figure and a Resin dot.
The lovely new transparent discs and Marble covers have now arrived from Europe so the Opio Album Basket is available to order from today.
A lovely page by Yvette Jouetre in Europe using the punches pages shown above and the Opio 25 x 25 stencil.
The page below created by Christine Ronsin shows a lovely simple layout using the Opio stencil. She has used the Alpes-Maritimes texture stencil and embossed the AZZA large alphabet letters with the Alpes-Maritimes embossing folder. She has added iZink Glitter paint to give the letters a little more texture.
Christine also had fun on her page below created using Burano/Lace themed products.
A close-up look at her decorations using the Pearl Grey cord, figures which she has coloured, stamped images and Resin dots.
That should be enough to get you to pop along to the shop and see all that is NEW.
I will leave you with a link to Dominique showing you a layout with the new products.
