Autumn is here

AZZA has some wonderful Autumn Stamps and dies, Christina shows how lovely they look on the scrapping page.

The AZZA Cork sheets work with the Autumn colours.

The new set of Autumn seasonal patterned papers are great as they can be used throughout the year. The side without the leaves can be used for all occasions. As the paper is so gentle on the page, you can see above, it will take a patterned design created with an AZZA Texture stencil.

Below is a 25 x 25 page I created with the Bangkok stencil and the Dried Flowers dies, paper and embossing folder. It was a 10 x 15cm photo taken a while ago so I had to create a page that would show it off. The Dried Flower colours were perfect and I used both Kraft and Copper papers to highlight the photo.

I am loving the Thin Labels set of dies for my titles on the page. They are the perfect size and you can easily shadow them without the design becoming too large. (DIE 347)

In my last blog I showed you decorations by Marie-Laure using this die set which she had created for her mini album.

Another layout I created with the Bangkok stencil highlighting the new Alphabet dies – Title Letters. They are a little larger but the great thing is that you can incorporate two colours into the heading as they cut a border and an inside letter.

I love this layout by Sophie, created with the Bangkok stencil and Dried Flower decoration products. She has also used the Title Letters die set on the page. If you want to match the stickers in the decoration, use the edges of the sticker sheet to cut your letters or numbers as Sophie has done.

Sophie’s decoration is beautiful incorporating a stamped image, die cut, Dried Flowers sticker and the Title letters for her heading.

Created by Andrea Petter, Europe

In the layout above Andrea Petter has used AZZA BROADWAY Alphabet stencil – DIE 319 shown below. Andrea has used the Glasgow stencil for this layout.

I have used the numbers on the 25 x 25 layout below, incorporating the two papers I have used elsewhere on the page. For this single photo I used the AZZA Washington stencil and the Geographical Moments decoration products.

These products are classic as they can be used in so many different ways on the page.

This month also saw the release of the new Waterfall stencils. There are three available: Circles, Scrolls and Spring. If you have never used these Waterfall stencils before do get in touch with your Consultant for a lesson. They are very easy to use as you literally place one on top of the other and build up the design. Obviously, you can stick with one colour in different shades or you can incorporate three different colours on each level. This is the sample of the Circles Trio below.

In the layout below I have used the Circles trio on both the scrapping page and on paper shapes. They pair beautifully with the AZZA Circle stickers and the Resin dots. Here I used white, chocolate and copper for my three colours, blending in with the photos.

The stencil I used will only be released in Australia next month, so do keep a look out for it.

The second page was perfect for my ‘bouncing Bubble’. This page I created with the AZZA Auckland stencil. I used a sheet out of the AZZA Vellum patterned paper block.

When I used the Scrolls set of Waterfall stencils I only used one of the stencils on the page as I wanted foliage and not scrolls.

Again, this is a 25 x 25 album page. I used the lovely Bohemian Design and stamp and die set to finish off my decorations. The Bohemian papers are good to keep on hand, they have a ‘pink/brown’ side and a ‘yellow/brown’ side so will go with a wide range of decorations. They also look good with a little ink around the edges of the cut piece.

This layout by Valerie, Val Scrap in Europe caught my eye, it is beautiful. She has used the Woodland papers released with the Auckland stencil and has hung her macrame decoration on an AZZA 1cm Brad with a Resin dot in the centre. She has finished it off with a little frayed AZZA cord. I have done the same in my lower decoration on the layout above. I placed a small slit in the stamped image and threaded the cord through to the back. As it had 3D mousse behind it, the image sat well on the page.

On the inside of a double page I created, I used the Bohemian Design decoration products in various ways. I have used the Texture stencil at the top directly onto the page to create a corner, I have also used it on patterned paper to created a heavier border at the bottom on the page. I have used the Bohemian Design embossing folder on both my strip and the circle behind the die cut that holds the journalling. I have embossed one of the Thin Title die cuts (shown in the set earlier in the blog) and added a little AZZA Twine to match the photos on the facing page. I will show you the full layout next month, as the stencil I have used will only be released in April in Australia. I used the Bohemian stamp and die set for my journalling. I stamped the image in Versamark/WOW ink so that my journalling would stand out on the stamped image. A strip like the one below is wonderful to cover something at the side of a photo if you cannot or do not want to crop it. Cheers!!

Sue Talbot created the layout below, being all about patchwork, I love the way she has grounded her decorations with a little embossed patch. Sue has also used the Bohemian Design papers and inked the edges to connect them to the photos.

Hilary used the reverse side of the Bohemian Design papers. She has used the Bohemian Figure sheet with a Resin dot for part of the decorations. Note how she has inked them in different shades to match the page. She has hung her macrame on her her border.

I used the Bohemian Design texture stencil in two ways on the page below. Firstly, I used it with ink and a blending brush to get the background for my cut-out section to sit on. I then used it to emboss the section of paper down the right hand side. I created this layout using the AZZA Bangkok stencil. One of the layouts in the Studio kit was where I began. The Studio kits are wonderful for those of you that struggle to begin a page. It gives so many examples and although what you end up with may not look that same, it has been a starting point for you to begin a page that will become your own creation depending on how many photos you use and the decorations that match the theme.

The die used in the layout above is only available through Mail-Out. It is not in the shop, if you would like a ‘One Off’ Mail-Out with the die above (there are two dies in the set) and a lesson with ideas on how to use them. Please contact me or send a request to enquiries@azzaworld.com.au.

As you all know I love to create Mini albums so am happy to announce three new covers are available to purchase for your mini albums.

https://shop.azzaworld.com.au/collections/whats-new/products/accordion-album-covers

AZZA has also begun to release kits that contain all the products to create a mini album. The first kit is called BIRTH, but is really suitable to any theme. The kit contains the accordion sheet, covers, papers, Resin dots, AZZA cord, a mini ink pad and a stamp set. Unfortunately for us in Australia the sheet of words is in French, but there is enough in the kit to work with. It makes the perfect gift – with Mother’s Day around the corner now may be the time to order one. A few options in different colour schemes will be released over the coming months.

Have fun with your new product as Ramona in Germany shows how to use the Spring waterfall stencil to make a card.

Happy Scrappin’
